Formulated With Care

Green Pony fly spray is made with a blend of essential oils proven to repel biting insects, plus food-grade ingredients to preserve and emulsify.

This means:

  1. No need to shake! Our fly spray is fully emulsified to ensure each spray provides the same protection.
  2. Safe for use around food and water! By using natural oils and only food grade ingredients, we've eliminated the risk of exposing ourselves and our animals to toxic chemicals being sprayed directly on their food and water by fly spray systems.

Why was Green Pony Fly Spray created?

"Spraying chemicals on my horses that I wouldn't spray on myself or my children just never felt right. That is what started me on the path of making my own fly spray. After years of trail and error and countless hours of research, I finally developed a combination of ingredients that really worked."

I bought this as an alternative to a well-known "eco-friendly" fly spray that tends to take my breath away whenever I use it. I was pleased to hear it was made locally by a trainer. It works. It smells good. It doesn't make me gag when I spray it. It's not oily and greasy like some of the others on the market. It's not loaded with chemicals. Is it going to knock flies down for 3 hours? No, but there isn't one out there that does. It's definitely worth trying. I'm only 1/2 way through my first bottle and I decided to order three more.

I got a small sample towelette when I bought B-gone and I was skeptical but it smells amazing and immediately the flies stopped swarming my gelding’s face. Flies are terrible at my barn and I’m always looking for ways (and working fly sprays that don’t burn my skin) to repel the flies, I am 100% going to buy a bottle. Smells amazing, applied some on myself and it doesn’t burn or sting my skin, gelding wasn’t a fan of putting it on his face but if he refuses to keep a mask on we’re definitely going in that direction!
